Iceland Airwaves Festival is the world’s most northerly music showcase festival featuring acts ranging from the unknown, to the up-and-coming, to international headliners. For the 22nd year, Reykjavik’s bars, clubs, bookshops and theaters will become the setting for this unique event. The winter solstice, with only a few hours of sunlight, makes for a music lover’s unmatched experience. You’ll also have the opportunity to see the majestic Northern Lights. You will discover Iceland’s most famous Golden Circle natural treasures including the waterfall Gullfoss with thousands of tons of icy water thundering majestically into a deep canyon. The Geyser area has numerous hot springs and geysers, including the famous Strokkur.
