Alumni, parents, students and fans: I send you greetings from Greater Cincinnati & Northern Kentucky!
We are CrimsonAti, the Greater Cincinnati Chapter of the University of Alabama National Alumni Association. We are CrimsonAti Proud! Our members come from all over the Cincinnati area. We are employed in health care, insurance, manufacturing, real estate, business, education, social services, industry, and many other facets of work. Many of our members are parents of current UA students. We like to stay in touch with our UA students and we get actively involved in various community service projects. Our first endowed scholarship is now funded and we will offer annual scholarships to prospective UA students. See “How to Apply” below.
Join us for our GameDay watch parties at our new location, Fueled Collective at Rookwood Commons, just off I-71. This is a new watch party location for CrimsonAti and we look forward to hosting some exciting events there. Take a video tour of Fueled Collective here: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=dja56aQcYtc&play=1&ts=1. We do not have a tailgate on campus for the 2020 football season due to COVID restrictions.
If you use social media, you can find us on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and we have a YouTube channel.
What does it mean to be ‘CrimsonAti Proud’? It means we strive to be the very best. Our students excel both academically and athletically. Our parents are proud. Our alumni are working hard to make Greater Cincinnati a great place to live and work. Our ‘Roll Tide’ philosophy gives our community a winning attitude.
You DO NOT have to be an Alabama graduate to join. Parents of UA students and Roll Tide fans are also welcome to join.
Your local chapter dues make YOU a part of our success.
OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE:
Student Recruitment, Scholarships, Community Service, Social Events, Game Day Watch parties, and MORE!
Member Benefits:
CrimsonAti has formed partnerships with various businesses in Cincinnati and Tuscaloosa that provides a benefit to members. If you are a valid member of CrimsonAti, you can take advantage of the following:
Adopt a Freshman
Let’s face it, Tuscaloosa is a long drive from Greater Cincinnati. It’s not easy for a freshman to be so far away from home. That’s why we have established Adopt a Freshman. New students can be ‘adopted’ by an upperclassman from Greater Cincinnati. After sharing contact information, our mentors help new students get acclimated to campus life. They assist with carpooling and travel issues between Cincinnati and Tuscaloosa. They can provide tips on where to shop, eat, tailgate, and will help guide new students to organizations and services on campus related to their needs and major.
These are our six mentors who have volunteered to adopt freshmen this coming academic year.

We are pleased to introduce Laura Canaday as our new Young Alumni Coordinator!
Laura is a 2017 UA grad, originally from Chicago.
She is employed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.
A key objective of our chapter is to provide scholarships to deserving Bama bound students from the Greater Cincinnati, Dayton and northern Kentucky region and to assist in the recruitment of future area high school students who are considering The University of Alabama for their higher education. We are pleased to announce a second endowed scholarship made possible by the generosity of the Cusick family. We are able to reach these goals through the continuous support of our chapter members, the local alumni and friends of The University of Alabama & CrimsonAti.
Even though we have raised the minimum amount to be able to award an endowed scholarship, we wish to continue raising funds so that additional scholarships and/or award amounts can be offered. If you would like to contribute to the Scholarship, you can do so by mailing a check or making a secure online payment.

How To Apply
A prospective student must apply for Admission to UA to apply for scholarships. Applicants are given a myBama user name and password. This is a personal account they will use for almost everything on campus (applying for housing, registering for classes, even ordering football tickets). They can only apply for UA scholarships through their myBama account. So they will receive all of this information once they have completed their ADMISSION application.
