Alabama Alumni Magazine is an excellent choice for advertisers who want to reach a savvy audience of well-educated readers who Roll with the Tide! Our award-winning quarterly publication is mailed to nearly 30,000 University of Alabama National Alumni Association members. Additional copies are distributed to state and local officials. Advertising space is limited, so that each ad can engage better with our readers.

GENERAL POLICY

Alabama Alumni Magazine reserves the right to refuse any ad and request any necessary corrections in spelling, grammar, punctuation, sentence structure, and writing style; only well-designed ads for quality products will be accepted. Web addresses used in ads must be accessible when the artwork is submitted.

Prepayment is required for first-time advertisers. If the correct artwork is not received by the stated deadline, or an ad is canceled after confirmation of space, the advertiser will be billed for half the cost of the contracted space rate.

Published four times annually as follows: Winter (December), Spring (March), Summer (June), and Fall (September)

When a closing date falls on a weekend or holiday, the deadline will be extended to the next business day. If allotted advertising pages are filled before the space deadline, no additional reservations will be taken, but advertisers can be added to a waiting list in case additional space becomes available.
CIRCULATION

Distributed quarterly to active members of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association, national and state legislators, and campus administrators. Circulation per issue is around 30,000, for a total annual circulation of nearly 120,000.

To place an ad in Alabama Alumni Magazine, submit the Advertising Request Form. Once your request is submitted, you will be contacted within 5 business days to complete your request.

Required Format

A print-ready (press-ready) PDF with all fonts (no TrueType fonts allowed) and CMYK graphics embedded output at 300 dpi.

PDF must include a .125″ bleed on all four sides. No crop marks or printers marks.

All spot colors (ex: Pantone 201) must be converted to CMYK. If your ad contains spot colors, the ink will not print in the magazine. We are not responsible for non-printing spot colors.

Licensing

All ads for items bearing The University of Alabama logos or emblems must be licensed through the
Collegiate Licensing Program.
