About
Welcome to the online home of “BAMA in Michiana”! We are the South Bend, Indiana Chapter of The University of Alabama National Alumni Association. We are here to serve the needs of alumni, parents, students, and fans who live, work, or play in Northern Indiana and Southwest Michigan. In fact, until Michigan gets their own chapter, we are claiming the entire state! We are conveniently located between the larger metropolitan areas of Chicago, Indianapolis, Detroit, and Grand Rapids (MI). If you live within a two hour drive of our area, we want to hear from you. As one of the newest chapters of the National Alumni Association, we are excited about the momentum that is building with our members. We are looking forward to continuing to grow our membership, our alumni networking, and our student recruitment efforts. We can’t do it alone. We need help from dedicated alumni, just like YOU! We also invite you to join us for our football Game Watch Parties in the Fall and other watch parties throughout the year as other sports are televised. Most of our parties are located at Wings Etc. in Osceola, Indiana (11480 McKinley Hwy.). For the larger games, we get a private room on the lower level. It is a great time to other alumni and fans. If you bleed CRIMSON and cheer for the TIDE, we want you to join us! Be sure to check us out on Facebook for the most up-to-date information about chapter events. Your membership matters. Please join us! ROLL TIDE!!! Barkley P. Garrett (’89) President, South Bend, Indiana Chapter
