Nomination deadline is Jan. 2, 2026.

Nominations are accepted from alumni, students, faculty and friends of the University. The selection committee is composed of alumni, faculty and students. All nominations must include the student’s expected graduation date, current GPA and student resume. Letters of support are accepted, and optional. All candidates nominated will be considered for both awards.

Alumni Outstanding Student Awards

The Alumni Outstanding Student Awards are presented to one male and one female in the senior class who excel in the following criteria:

1. Personality – demonstration of an exceptional spirit of friendliness and hospitality toward guests and friends of The University of Alabama.

2. Achievement – exceptional performance in academics and extra-curricular activities

3. Character – strength of character and maturity, sense of direction and purpose of life.

Alumni Senior Awards

The Alumni Senior Awards are presented to a group of seniors, in addition to the Alumni Outstanding Student Award recipients, who have proven themselves outstanding while at The University of Alabama.
