Outstanding Commitment to Teach Awards Nomination Form

The University of Alabama National Alumni Association recognizes four faculty members each year who demonstrate an outstanding commitment to teaching. The award honors exceptional faculty at the Capstone who are committed to education and who have made an impact on students through the teaching and learning process. All full-time faculty are eligible. Nominations are accepted from alumni, faculty and students, with the selection committee composed of the same. Each recipient receives an award and cash stipend. Presentation of the awards is made at the Fall General Faculty Meeting.

Nomination Procedure

Please complete the form below, including the nomination statement, which shall not exceed 350 words and the nominee’s CV. In addition, letters of support from faculty, staff, alumni and students are strongly encouraged and may be submitted below, with a limit of five letters per nominee. Nominations are considered for one year only.

The deadline for nominations and supporting materials is June 9, 2025.
