LOGO Application

For materials too small to accommodate minimum print/display requirements, contact the NAA.

  • All logos must include .25″ of clear space on all four sides so as not to distract with other design
    elements.
  • Partner logos must be placed at least 1″ away on all four sides from the NAA logo.
  • Logos must only use CMYK, RGB or spot colors specified by UA brand guidelines: brand.ua.edu.
  • Logos must only be used on high-quality, well-designed marketing materials.
  • Logos must be printed/displayed at the minimum required size.
  • Logos must not be altered in any way and should always include the registered trademark.
  • Logos may not be printed on solid color fills of any other SEC school (orange, red, blue, etc.).
  • Written permission must be given by the NAA to use any logo on any partner print or digital design.
  • All designs including the NAA logo must be approved by the NAA before printing or distribution.
  • University of Alabama logos, Script A or seal may not be used for any partner piece. Only the NAA logos may be included in designs.
  • NAA logos may be used, with permission, on family-friendly materials and must not be used for the following activities: charitable or nonprofit organizations, higher education outside of the UA System, political campaigns, religious groups, any product or service that does not align editorially or which poses a conflict of interest for the NAA or The University of Alabama.
  • The NAA reserves the right to reject logo use:
    • If the NAA determines that the use is inconsistent with their understanding of the NAA’s objectives, values or image or the aesthetic standards of The University of Alabama or the NAA.
    • If the NAA deems the ad to be inappropriate, objectionable, political or offensive.
