The Alumni Scholarship Program’s competitive scholarships require no previous affiliation with UA or the National Alumni Association. Scholarships are selected according to the strength of the “awards and experiences” section of their admission application; therefore, to be considered for any scholarship managed by the Alumni Scholarship Program, students must be admitted to UA and complete the Alabama Scholarship Award Manager (ASAM) scholarship application via the myBama.ua.edu portal by January 10.

In no circumstance will an award be made based on illegal criteria including, but not limited to, race, gender, or national origin.
