Roll Tide! Welcome to the online home of the Broward County Chapter of The University of Alabama Alumni Association. This chapter is an organization for all Broward County area alumni and fans.

We regularly organize events for our local Alumni, Friends of the University and local UA Students. Each fall our website will list our Chapters game watching parties for a few of our bigger nationally televised football games.  In addition, we organize an annual South Florida Student Recruiting Reception at a local hotel and host a Freshman Send-Off Cookout for our new local students attending the University each fall. We need a number of Alumni volunteers to staff these events and coordinate various roles with our local Student Recruitment Coordinator, Casie Tate, so please join in and help support us with your time.

As you visit our new website, please share it with other local University of Alabama supporters. You will find that our local chapter is a fun group of Alabama supporters who enjoy celebrating UA’s rich tradition of excellence in all that we do. If you are interested in getting involved with student recruitment in South Florida we have lots of opportunities available to you:

Assist Regional recruiter with local college fairs

  • Write notes or make phone calls to students and/or parents who have expressed an interest
  • Assist with student recruitment receptions
  • Assist with student send off parties

Events

We are looking forward to finally hosting some great SEC football game watching parties this fall for our Crimson Tide Fans and Alumni at FL Bar & Lounge!  Working with our local Chapter Officers, we have decided to host game parties for Texas, Texas A&M, Tennessee, LSU, Auburn and post season games.  Come join us with your friends and family.

As a reminder, pay your annual $20 chapter dues so the chapter can support local funding to our local BAMA Bound students! We raise hundreds of dollars each year for small scholarship awards with your annual dues.

The chapter will collect dues at each game watching party.  Make checks payable to Alumni Fund or cash is accepted.
