Greetings and Roll Tide! Welcome to the website of the Monroe County Chapter of the National Alumni Association. We have been an active chapter of The University of Alabama family for over 20 years. The primary mission of our chapter is to provide scholarship assistance to deserving students from Monroe County who are furthering their education at the Capstone. We also have yearly events for our local alumni and friends which positively promote The University of Alabama.
We would love to have you attend our chapter events. You don’t have to be a graduate, just a loyal Bama fan! We would also love for you to become active in our group as an officer. If you are interested, please contact us on how to help!

Any student from Monroe County may apply for these funds provided they are an incoming freshman or a transfer student, reside in Monroe County and complete The University of Alabama admissions application by December 1st. We encourage you to give to any or all of our local scholarships so the chapter scholarships will benefit from the matching tag money that the National Alumni Association awards to scholarships that have had donations made to them annually by June 15.
We would appreciate YOUR support to continue our mission of hosting fun and informative events, while providing meaningful scholarship assistance to deserving students from our county.
